Most memorable race: Collegiate road race on the Fort Ord (Stanford/Sea Otter) course- My first victoryOff-the-bike hobbies: Camping and the outdoors, especially Moab; Snowboarding

What got me into cycling: Lance's first Tour victories and visiting Paris by chance on the last day of the 1997 Tour
Top lifetime accomplishments: Traveling around the world, following the 2004 Tour, playing in 3 European Regional Little League Finals
Day job: Just finished my Ph.D. in biochemical engineering at UC Berkeley. Now I work at Amyris making biofuels and renewable chemicals in yeast
Where I grew up: San Diego, Saudi Arabia, Boulder
What got me into racing: living in Boulder
Music that gets me going before a race: October Break Mix-Atmosphere, Pharcyde, Swollen Members, J5, the Roots
Number of years with the team: My 6th year, but the last couple have been preoccupied with finishing my Ph.D. Since that is over now, I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle
Favorite ride: Boulder-Estes Park and back, Porcupine Rim
Cycling accomplishments: Back to back wins on consecutive days, Martinez and Santa Cruz Crits
