This was my first race of the season, first race with Metromint and the first time I have raced this course. The two?s did four laps, which went by quickly. It was not a technical course, even with the u-turn and going through town. Once I was in the front going through the town but the group stayed together no matter what. There were several attacks throughout the race which was good because it kept it interesting. It was really hard to get away though; we were able to chase down attacks easily. Fremont bank probably had the most guys and controlled the field the best and attacked the most. I should have been a little further up, I thought it was going to be a bunch sprint but it got really strung out, gaps started to form; it was a power finish. The rolling hills weren?t bad but you could tell they were there. The speed felt good coming down them. It was a fun race with nice roads. I ended up 10th out of 18.
